"we don't live for politics"

i'm a voter, but i don't live for politics...since the day i turned 18, i have cast my vote in almost every election possible. my relatives (and countless others) sacrificed way too much to give me that freedom for me to turn around and take it for granted. i try my best to vote in the most informed way possible. for me, being a follower of Jesus, that means reading the Bible, praying and voting the best way i know how to based on biblical standards. i got a babysitter this am, stood in line for 2 hours and voted. at the end of the day, though, there is only one King who is on the throne and boy am i thankful for that.

i love john piper's perspective on this...click below to hear what he has to say. i know when all is said and done, i want to be an advocate for Christ.....
