caroline's handprints...handprints are my favorite!happy late mother's day!! we've had a great one around here. i am so humbled that God has allowed me to be a mom. it is the best thing that has ever happened to me aside from marrying john. at church yesterday morning, our pastor talked about how it is easy for moms to get caught up in all the tasks that make up motherhood. but, the most important thing for my girls to see is a living, vibrant, personal relationship with Jesus lived out in my life. oh, how i pray my girls will see this in my life despite all my shortcomings and imperfections. i hope one day that they primarily remember seeing Jesus in my life over anything else. my sweet husband surprised me with a one hour massage saturday, which was heavenly. it's only the second one i've ever had and i wish (money not being an object) it could be a regular thing :) a special thank you to both of our moms for being the most wonderful mothers we know. your impact on our lives cannot be measured and we are so thankful for all you have done and continue to do for us!

Thank you for being the kind of children that make every day Mother's Day. I really do celebrate being a Mom each time I think of any of our wonderful sons or our beautiful "daughters". And now you have added those precious granddaughters to our lives ( the matching bathing suits are a stitch). What an adorabe picture.
