garbage truck
why oh why does the garbage truck have to come to our house and sit in front of it loudly crunching up trash literally forever while my two girls nap in their bedrooms located at the front of the house?????? it must be b/c they want to wake up my youngest who is in desperate need of a long nap today b/c she has a cold. it must also be b/c they don't want this mommy to have any time to do anything today. that must be it!!!

Like your post. I'm a garbage collector and am sorry they packed the truck in front of your house. You ever outside or near the truck and actually seen it crushing? If so, what did you think?

You might ask the sanitation engineers if they would consider alternating their "crushing " schedule. Or you could put a sign in your front yard that reads that the house is in a quiet zone. If you add a AARP sign next to the house, they will most certainly move on. Just a few suggestions from mom and dad,
