after my family left, john's family came in and we got to have more vacation time at folly beach. well, i did...john didn't get to really vacation until the second week his family was here. we had a wonderful house with a view of the marsh, a crabbing dock and a huge back porch with rockers. it was a week and a half of making wonderful memories together. the 5 cousins had a blast. thank goodness for rebekah and caleb...they kept katilin, caroline and abby entertained. caroline actually slept in the big kid room in one of the bunk beds. huge step up! we cooked in, ate out and just had a blast. it was a longer vacation than we normally do, but somehow the time flew by even faster. it is an awesome blessing to enjoy each other so much!!

Lauren, I'm so glad that y'all had the chance to spend such quality time with your families during this very exciting time. Wow, Caroline is really getting big, and your about to have another....You and John make it very difficult to stay in touch with you guys, my index card system has not been able to handle all the phone numbers and addresses(of which I do not have a current one, or you would have got a christmas card with me displaying my county fair award winning red carrots! drop me an email with your new information---Shawn (yes from Samford Shawn....)
