the main reason we went home was to celebrate susanna's big first b'day with our families!
sat night, july 19 everyone came to my parents' house for dinner, cake and ice cream. we had so much fun celebrating susanna's first year and spending time with our families. there is nothing i love more than having all my family together in one place. it is life to my soul! thank you, mom, for all your help...especially the beautiful flowers!! i apologize for the millions of pics, but it's hard to narrow down and this is my blog so i can do what i want :)

after ice cream at grammie and papa's house

we spent a week in georgia celebrating b'days (kaitlin and susanna) and hanging out with family! we started the week off at kaitlin's friend party, then everyone came to my parents' house for susanna's party and then back to the lake for kaitlin's family party. we also got to spend several days with the shaw cousins. we went to my grandmother's farm and spent a day with her and went to build a bear. caroline also got to go to swim lessons with luke and sarah. none of us got much sleep, but we had a blast and it was awesome to have sister time with kristen! we don't get that very often. of course, it's crazy with 5 kids 6 and under, but it's all fun and memories in the midst of the chaos. i love you sis! we always love our time with family and treasure every time we're together...my girls love going to georgia!!!
